I.. I never actually thought about this before.. this is so super true…
Truthfully, I was like the top kid as a young child, and I believed I had everything in the world, and I was never bored. (lol rhyme)
But today I feel so selfish when I get so bored to the point where I just take a nap, because I have a television, laptop, game consoles, music, a pool down the street, etc… It’s just kinda sick of this generation to keep wanting more and more entertainment, and I know I’m becoming one of them. :/
Sometimes I will stop in public and randomly get excited that I have an iphone and a Mac. The computer more or less because A) it’s the first working computer I have ever own my previous laptops were used and hand me downs with about 60 gigs of memory at most for internal memory ( and mind you windows took up more then half of it after a while ) and B) it’s the brand of computer I grew up on so there’s a personal connection there for me
The Phone however I will physically poke at it and giggle and get excited because I NEVER in my life imagined I’d have a smart phone let alone a proper working phone with a plan and everything. Sometimes I see little kids with blackberrys and iphones and I’m just kind of sitting there like ” You’re fucking 8, you don’t have the basic knowledge of responsibilty besides that WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH A SMART PHONE YOU CAN’T EVEN TEXT” ( now mind you to add to this there is one family I see all the time when I walk around my neighborhood that give their kid their ipad all the time. Personally I have no problem with that because you see, I always take a second to see what he’s doing with it, and so far every time he’s been reading something…although sometimes it’s in small print, and then he will stop a lot and ask questions…shit I am a creeper…i’m sorry it just gives me pride that some kids out their still like to READ…plus I always wonder why the hell parents hand their small unpredictable children a 300 dollar piece of equiptment)
AND I AM DONE RANTING AND WASTING YOUR TIME AHEE
